Busy canteen areas in the 3CC waterproof concrete basement and overhead the 3CC concrete podium deck supporting parklands & heavy landscaping.

Cementaid proposed that the Contractor cast 3CC system concrete in the top 600mm layer of the basement raft slab, in line with Cementaid specification requirements. Section thicknesses of the RC walls varied between 600 - 1000mm and were cast using 3CC System in full thickness.

The section thickness of the CALTITE shotcrete wall over the CBP wall areas varies between 150mm thickness over the pile crests and up to 350mm thick over the "troughs" / joints. The CALTITE shotcrete wall areas were finished using steel trowels to consolidate the surface as well as close any pinholes.

To confirm the efficacy of the 3CC system landscaped podium waterproofing, the 3CC slab areas were compulsorily subject to at least 48 hours of water ponding before the Weldcrete cementitious membrane was applied. No seepage occurred in the 3CC slabs during or after ponding.

All parties expressed their satisfaction with the performance of the HPI waterproof concrete susbstructure & parkland slabs.
